Whether you're looking for an initial quote for a new carpet or you want a full quote that includes removing, delivering and fitting your flooring too, we can help! We'll tailor our quote to meet your specific requirements, and we promise we'll only include services and features that you need. I’m looking for a full quotation, where do I go?

There are lots of ways to get a quote from Tapi - just choose the one that's most convenient for you! 

1. Pop into your local Tapi store with your measurements; they'll be able to assist you further and provide an accurate quote for your requirements. Just put your postcode into our Store Finder to find your closest branch. You can book an appointment to visit them in person, or contact them via the phone or email details provided on the store page.

2. Book a free home visit and we'll bring our Tapi store to your door! We'll arrive laden with samples galore and our flooring experts can offer you advice, measure up and provide a full quotation. Go to Book a Home Visit to arrange your appointment.

3. On every product page there's a Request a Quote button where you can fill in all the information we need, like room type, room size, and what services you're looking for. Someone from your local Tapi store will send you a quote within 24 hours. You can then give them a call or pop into the store to discuss your quote.

Can I get a quote online?

Of course! If you're looking for a detailed online quote for how much your new flooring will cost, head to the product page of the particular floor you're interested in. Click the request a quote button and a form will pop up for you to complete. Select your flooring type, your room type, room size, and what services you're looking for, e.g. fitting, interest free credit, etc., then someone from your local Tapi store will email you back a quote within 24 hours. You are then free to give them a call or pop into the store to discuss your quote at your own convenience.

For a rough estimate of flooring costs, take a look at our calculate room size tool and enter your room measurements (also found on every product page). The total cost shown excludes delivery or fitting costs, but we hope it will give you an initial idea of how much you need to budget.

I have a question about my quotation, what should I do next?

We always aim to be as clear as possible whilst discussing your order and our knowledgeable consultants will be able to answer any questions you may have when you receive your quote.

However, if you’ve received your quotation after the appointment and you’d like us to clarify some points, please feel free to pop back to the store you visited, or call or email them and they’ll be happy to assist you. Alternatively, you can contact Customer Support via the ‘Submit a Request’ button.

I’m waiting for a quote after a Home Visit, how long does this usually take?

We understand the importance of comparing quotations with competitors and it’s important to research who you want to invest your time with. We can usually provide a quote during the home visit, but otherwise we'll aim to get your quotation over to you as soon as possible by email. If you’ve checked your junk folders and still cannot locate it, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we’ll ensure it's sent right away.

Will you beat my quote from another carpet shop?

We aim to always offer a highly competitive price on all our carpets, vinyl, luxury vinyl and laminate.

If you find a high street retailer offering a lower totally fitted price for a purely identical carpet, underlay and accessories, we'll lower our price to beat your quotation! All items within the competitor quote need to be for the exact same carpet, underlay and accessories with identical product specifications including weight, dimensions and available widths, so we can compare apples with apples. Many retailers, including Tapi, rename the collections we sell, so if you’re able to provide us the with the manufacturer product names or a sample, this will really help us to check if we have the exact same carpet, underlay and accessories within our collections. Our pledge is valid for 14 days after your order is confirmed.

Can I bring in my own measurements for a quote?

Of course you can! We’d be happy to provide a quotation or place the order based on your measurements. We ask that you double check your measurements to ensure you have the right dimensions, and a rough sketch of your room will help our in-store colleagues provide a quotation as they can see if any columns or fireplaces should be taken into account. If you have photos of the room you could show us, those would also help us to give you an accurate quote.

Don't worry about the unit of measurements used (i.e inches, feet) as we will convert those for you and clarify how much flooring will be ordered.

How much of a deposit do I need to pay?

The total amount for your new flooring (including delivery and fitting) will need to paid in full when you place your order with us. If we need to visit your home to check your room measurements, we may ask you to leave a deposit then pay the remaining balance when the measurements have been confirmed and the order has been processed.

There's no deposit required if you choose our interest free credit payment plan, although you can opt to pay a deposit to reduce your monthly installments. Take a look at our Interest Free Credit FAQs to find out more.
