Underlay is the unsung hero of the room. We never see it so we barely give it a second thought, but what if there was an underlay that was designed with the planet in mind? Put a spring in your step with our latest innovation: Tapi underlay made with Nike Grind.

Our recycled underlay is made with at least 20% Nike Grind foam from manufacturing scrap.

The perfect foundation for your new carpet, it provides luxurious comfort, extra insulation, and a springy feel underfoot.

Nike Grind, which began as a grassroots initiative in 1992 to repurpose shoes headed for landfills, is now a global sustainability program that helps transform manufacturing scrap, unused manufacturing materials and end-of-life shoes into recycled Nike Grind materials. Rubber, foam, fibre, leather and textiles are collected, separated, and reused or processed into new Nike Grind materials. These Nike Grind materials are incorporated into partner products ranging from furniture to playgrounds, as well as Nike footwear and apparel.

We offer two thicknesses of underlay: 9mm for everyday comfort and 11mm for a more luxurious feeling underfoot. Both are fantastic for reducing noise and increasing warmth in all areas of the home.
