At Tapi, we are passionate about supporting causes that matter to our people and the communities where we live and work. We believe that charity begins at home, and our focus is on empowering our colleagues to make a difference in the causes closest to their hearts.
That’s why we’ve launched Helping Hands, a project designed exclusively for Tapi colleagues who are actively involved in charitable efforts. Our team members can apply for donations to support their local and personal fundraising activities - whether they’re running a marathon, hosting a local event, or taking on a personal challenge. The funds are available to support local community initiatives that contribute to the wellbeing of the places we call home.
This is our way of standing beside the people who bring our values to life every day - by helping our colleagues drive positive change where it matters most.
Please note, we are unable to consider requests for product donations or financial contributions outside this employee-only programme. While we appreciate the incredible work being done by charities and community groups across the UK, we are focusing our charitable giving on supporting our teams and their local initiatives at this time.

Tapi is thrilled to have sponsored the incredibly talented dancers from The Performance Hub Medway, as they took to the world stage. When Thanet Home Consultant James Goodair told us his two daughters had been selected to dance for England at the Dance World Cup, Tapi leapt at the chance to support them. We gladly donated £500 toward their uniforms, costumes, and entry fees. The girls shone brightly, placing 9th in one of their dances. Congratulations girls!

Roger Nash, Home Consultant from our Crawley store, and Emma Nash, Marketing Assistant at Tapi Central, are members of Fox Archets - a small, friendly-family archery club. When their bows and arrows were stolen following a break-in, Tapi happily donated £500 to help them get back to doing what they love. They've since been achieving some fantastic results at competitions!
When Adam Wilson, Tapi's Director of Finance, reached out about sponsoring the football team his son plays for, we were only too happy to support them! Borough Green Junior FC has been providing local children with the opportunity to meet new friends and play football for nearly 20 years. Tapi gladly donated their target goal of £1,000!
On 24th May 2026, Jim Baker, our lovely gardener at Tapi Central, took part in Marathon on Wheels Charity Cycle Ride 2026 for the Pilgrims Hospice. This amazing place helps people facing life-limiting conditions, ensuring those who need them can access the quality care they deserve, living well in every moment. Pilgrims Hospice raised a massive £13,873.01, with Tapi donating £899 towards the grand total.
Harry Boone, the Deputy Manager at our Charlton store, walked 50 miles throughout June to raise money for the MS Trust. Harry’s partner Lauren was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in March 2025, and the MS Trust offers valuable support to MS sufferers and also the people caring for those with the condition. Tapi donated £500 towards his fundraising total, which finished at a whopping £1,046. Here’s a few photos of Harry enjoying his walk!
On 9th May 2026, Rea Scott-Hedges (left), a Sales Advisor from our Catford store, completed a 13-mile walk over 6 hours to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society. Tapi gladly donated £200 as both Rea’s nan and grandad sadly lived with dementia, so it’s a cause that’s very close to her heart. Seeing first-hand the impact this illness has on individuals and families motivated her to raise funds and awareness, to help support others going through similar experiences. Alzheimer’s society is a UK charity that supports people affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. All funds raised from Trek26 goes towards continuing vital research, to work towards a future where dementia no longer devastates lives.
Nicola Taylor, the Sales Manager from our Aberdeen store, hosted a charity Darts Night on 4th October 2025 in aid of Clan Cancer Support. Clan provides both emotional and practical support in North East Scotland, Moray, Orkney and Shetland to help people live with and beyond their or their loved one's cancer diagnosis and improve their quality of life. The event raised a fantastic £3925, smashing their initial £2500 target, with £500 donated by Tapi.
CASPA is an award-winning charity that supports over 500 autistic people in and around Bromley to build life skills, make friends, and speak up for themselves. Through fun, inclusive clubs and activities, CASPA works to create a society where autistic people feel understood, included, and able to live their best lives. Tapi are proud to have donated £5000 to support this local charity.
